While there is a growing number of scientific studies surrounding psilocybin and its benefits, it’s the participants subjective, or mystical, experience we’ll focus on. These experiences are filled with insight, personal growth, personal perspective and lessons that can lead to change in self-concept, enhanced self worth, personal empowerment and enhanced perception. In the midst of the journey, each person can access new perspectives and revelations that can help turn insights and understandings into actions. If during the ceremony a “bubbling up” of emotions & feelings arises, please remember this is being brought to the surface to be seen, healed and released. Not all emotions and feelings are meant to be transcended. It may be enough to simply witness, acknowledge and understand these connections.
